This new world is for all game masters with an idea for a story searching an easy setting to use. Including a new source of magic, ancestries, locations, and items
The inhabitants of the continent known as Rhunientem stand on the verge of a new revolution. The recent discovery of a source of magic, now known as Argeomancy. It promises countless opportunities, but also inevitable discord. An intense power struggle begins, with every faction seeking access to this force to assert their dominance over the continent.
The universe of Euriketh is deeply scarred by a post-apocalyptic past, born from the cataclysmic event known as the Great Divide. From which rises a world rich in fantasy elements, home to various races, ferocious creatures, and omnipresent magic. Behind the walls of towns and villages, ordinary citizens lives in mundane safety. However, anyone who chooses to venture beyond these secured zones will discover how wild, and merciless the outside world can be.
Characters adventuring in the world of Euriketh will have to make consequential choices. With the opportunity to risk their lives exploring mysterious ruins of past civilizations. Or again, by braving ancient traps to unearth relics and forgotten artifacts. For the more daring, it can also mean delving into hazardous natural cavern networks to extract raw argeomantic stones. Characters can also choose to ally themselves with major nations to take an active role in the global race for mystical power. Or instead leverage this new resource to establish trade networks and gain wealth at the expense of great empires.
Today, the world of Euriketh is undergoing radical changes and upheaval. In a world where all know the rules of magic, power historically remained a jealously guarded privilege. Only those born with the gift, or those who practiced for decades to learn, could access it. Argeomancy completely rewrites the rules. What will the average individual do once given access to these gems of raw power? Will nations use these magical stones to unite and fight back the natural forces knocking at their door? Or instead repeat history and wage wars against neighboring kingdoms?
The future is unwritten. What mark will your players leave upon this world, and how will their actions shape the future of Euriketh in the face of the rise of Argeomancy? It is up to your table to decide.
